ABOUT US

TAKE5 MUSIC PRODUCTION

Take5 Music Production, founded in 2013 by Ingo Petry, Hans Kipfer, Jens Braun, Marion Schwebel, and Thore Brinkmann, is a leading company in classical music recording and crossover productions in Scandinavia and beyond.

With over 100 years of collective experience in the recording industry and a history as an exclusive team for BIS Records, we have now also produced hundreds of new releases on labels such as Alba, Alpha, Arcantus, Chandos, Dacapo, Deutsche Grammophon, Hyperion, Naxos, Ondine, Onyx, Signum, and Sony. We enjoy the privilege to work with many fantastic artists, conductors, ensembles and orchestras around the world and have been successful in getting their recordings released on our collaborating labels.

We stay up-to-date with technological developments in classical music distribution and have expanded our video services to include live stream coverage and full orchestra video productions tailored to our customers’ needs. Our main focus however remains on producing high-quality audio and video recordings of classical music, with a focus on post-production. We distinguish ourselves from other video production companies by providing detailed musical feedback during the recording process. We support our artists in achieving their ambitious goals and creating productions that stand out in the competitive field. Our dedication to excellence has led to a number of award-winning releases and will continue to do so in any future formats.

All Take5 Tonmeisters are driven by both musical and technical passion and we are grateful for the ongoing trust of the artist community in our uncompromising standards.
